All of Life is sacred to me, but escilealpy being fully present to my deepest Self and fully connected to other human beings and other beings of all types and fully connected to all of Nature and to the essence of whatever/whoever is the unseen, unknown Force behind this all. That is the ultimate Mystery and, to me, that is Sacred.I love your idea for this project. It has inspired to start something similar!

Very uplifting thoughts! I also believe suffering is a result of judging a pain as bad and sometimes even cursing it. However, if we are grateful towards pain and bless it for being the alarm bell to turn us away from that which might even kill us, then pain doesn’t become a suffering. Instead, pain becomes a guide!!!

My heart opened. It was a beautiful moment to see all that love surrounding me. I felt so much appreciation and gratitude for the loving gift of their presence and help. It had taken something of this magnitude to make me realize how precious life is.

I am so very sorry that you are enduring this type of pain and suffering. Yes, there are many times in life that are quite challenging in regards to feeling genuine happiness. I have been through many difficult tests and challenges in life. In hindsight I usually find many blessings hidden in each challenge. While experiencing deep pain it is very difficult if not seemingly impossible to find that innate happiness that is always alive within us. I know…..
You are in my prayers! When one door closes other doors open….You deserve to be cherished, adored and loved in the most divine way. Everything happens for a reason although it is so difficult to understand why we have to endure such pain. Hang in there! Happiness awaits you!

First of all, I love this project/mission. I’m all in when it comes to somihteng that’s so completely POSITIVE. I hope this grows beyond your wildest dreams.As for what I, personally, hold sacred, several things came to mind pretty much at the same time. Family, Faith,and the American flag.As a wife and mother (3 daughters, 4 cats, 1 son-in-law, 1 future son-in-law, and 1 to-be-determined-son-in-law!), my beloved family is the first thing I think about in the morning and the last thing I think about at night. When I’m weak, they give me strength and when I’m strong they make me invincible.My faith is sacred because it’s mine, all mine! I believe in God as much as I believe in my next breath. I know He’s there and no one could ever convince me otherwise. When you feel your faith down in the core of your being, it’s a part of who you are even more so than your DNA.Finally, the American Flag should be sacred to every American. Men and women have fought for, and given their last breath for, the stars and the stripes. They do so even today. Our country is a beautiful mixture of many races and fascinating cultures and I think of all of us when I look at the American Flag and it never fails to stir my emotions.

I agree that circumstances caonnt make you happy, but sometimes circumstances make you unhappy, and you are not always able to will yourself to be happy. My husband left me for another woman; we had been together for 31 years, more than half my life. I am determined to find happiness without him, but it is not easy in the face of emotional, familial and financial upheaval. I have much to be grateful for, and there are happy moments, but real joy, contentment and well-being are not yet within my reach.
