Paiste Symphonic Gong 32″ (81 cm)

32-inch gong from the Symphonic series by the Swiss company Paiste. This series is the oldest of the company’s entire line.

Symphonic gongs are handcrafted from nickel silver in accordance with European manufacturing traditions. Despite the name Symphonic, the gong is not intended for use exclusively in symphony or classical orchestras. On the contrary, this name refers us to the original meaning of this word – the unity of harmonious sound and volume. The gong is flat and does not have a distinct elevation, and its edges are smoothly curved inward, creating a unique shape, due to which it has a harmonious and universal sound structure. You can achieve a variety of gong sounds by using different beaters, which can differ in shape, material, weight, as well as changing the point of impact and force. The gong has a company logo, which does not affect its sound in any way.
